In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Abingdon Pest Control, and "you" means the person using this website or booking our services. By using this website or booking a service you agree to these terms.

Using this website

The information on this website is for general guidance only and is not a substitute for a professional inspection. We try to keep it accurate and up to date, but we cannot promise that it is complete. You must not misuse the website or try to interfere with how it works.

Quotes and bookings

• Quotes are free and carry no obligation. You can request a quote online or by phone.
• We aim to give you a clear, fixed price before any work starts. A quote is based on the information you give us and what we find at the property.
• If the problem turns out to be different from what was described, we will explain this and agree any change in price with you before we carry on.
• A booking is confirmed once we have agreed a date and time with you.

Your responsibilities

• A homeowner or responsible adult should be at the property when we attend, as our point of contact.
• Please give our technician safe access to the areas that need treatment.
• Please follow the preparation and aftercare advice we give you, including keeping children and pets away from treated areas.
• Please tell us about any health conditions, pets or vulnerable people at the property before treatment starts.

Payment

Payment is due as agreed when we confirm your booking. Prices include everything in the quote. If an invoice is not paid on time, we may charge interest and recovery costs as allowed by law.

Cancelling or changing a visit

Please give us as much notice as you can if you need to cancel or move a visit. We may charge for a visit that cannot go ahead because we cannot get access or no one is available to meet us.

Follow-up visits and results

Some pests, such as bed bugs, fleas and cockroaches, need more than one visit. Where a follow-up is part of your treatment plan, we will agree it with you. We work to remove the pests we are asked to treat, but we cannot guarantee that pests will never return, as this can depend on factors outside our control, such as neighbouring properties and the condition of the building.

Our responsibility to you

We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Otherwise, we are responsible only for loss that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms, and we are not liable for any loss of profit or indirect loss.

Your legal rights

If you are a consumer, you have legal rights under UK consumer law, including a right to services carried out with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms affects those rights.

Privacy

We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you book is the one that applies to your booking.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
